General description

The McAlpine Side Tundish is a plumbing fitting designed to provide a visual indication of the discharge from a hot water cylinder relief valve. It is made of durable white plastic and features a 3/4" outlet. The side tundish is installed on the discharge pipework, providing a visible air gap for the safe discharge of hot water. It is suitable for use with unvented hot water cylinders, boilers, and other hot water systems where there is a potential risk of scalding or damage from hot water discharge. Additionally, the tundish helps to prevent contamination of the hot water supply.
