General description

The McAlpine ABS42/43G-CB is a compression straight connector featuring chrome-plated brass on one end and ABS solvent weld on the other. It is designed to connect ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) pipes or fittings to those made from different materials, such as copper or brass. The connector utilizes a compression nut and olive to ensure a watertight seal, while the ABS solvent weld end is intended for gluing to ABS pipes or fittings. The chrome plating on the brass offers a durable and attractive finish that resists corrosion and tarnishing, making it suitable for various environments. This connector is commonly used in plumbing and heating applications where a strong, reliable connection is essential.
