Description

General description

The McAlpine 1 1/4" In-Line Screened Filter Pipe Coupling is a plumbing component designed to connect two 1 1/4 inch pipes while providing a built-in filter to prevent debris and other particles from entering the plumbing system. This coupling is commonly used in applications such as connecting sink drains to a waste pipe or connecting a washing machine drain to a standpipe. The filter screen within the coupling captures large particles that may pass through the pipes, preventing clogs or damage to downstream plumbing components. Made from durable materials such as PVC or ABS plastic, it is resistant to corrosion and can withstand exposure to a wide range of chemicals and fluids commonly found in plumbing systems. Overall, it is a reliable and effective plumbing component that helps prevent costly and inconvenient plumbing issues.
