General description

This Metabo SSW 18 LTX 400 BL Brushless Impact Wrench is a high torque machine designed for efficiency and performance. It features a unique Metabo brushless motor that ensures quick work progress and minimal kickback torque. The tool is equipped with overload protection to prevent motor overheating, and its robust die-cast aluminium gear housing provides excellent heat dissipation and durability. With 12-speed/torque levels, it is suitable for a wide range of applications. Additional features include an integrated work light for better visibility and a versatile belt hook that can be attached on either side. This is a bare unit, meaning no battery or charger is included.

Super impact driver. Loosens wheel nuts with no problem. Compact and quiet. Provide a minimum 4 AH battery. To recommend.

METABO, a brand of the German company Metabo Werke Gmbh, is an epitome of German entrepreneurship. It was founded by Albrecht Schnizler in 1923 in Nürtingen (Baden-Württemberg), in the backroom of his parents' bakery. A passionate inventor, he designed the first hand-held drill capable of piercing metal, which was widely used at the time. Named the n°18, it sold over 50,000 units, mainly in Great Britain. In 1929, Metabo Werke was founded with two other partners; METABO derives from the German Metallbohrdreher, hand drill.
