Published on 10/06/2022, FranceWell thought out and complete product for a cordless brushcutter allowing powerful operation at 36V but based on 2 18V batteries used for other electro-portable equipment: delivered with harness, reel with a little wire, blade and handlebar type handle. The device incorporates battery protection (metal hoop) when placed on the ground. On the other hand, the wire supplied broke quite quickly leaving a spooled piece impossible to remove. The reloading with wire as described on the instructions took place with difficulty. Since the thread no longer unwinds automatically and the use of pliers is necessary.

Published on 05/08/2024After several months of use: surprised by the power for a battery model and the autonomy is really not bad (about 40 min to clear grass about 80 cm high with a set of LI-HD in 5.5ah against about 25/30min with classic 5.2ah) It is therefore essential to have two sets of batteries if you have a fairly intensive use. Manufacturing level: nothing to complain about, it's Metabo. Small negative point: it would be nice to make other interchangeable Metabo tools compatible (pruner, hedge trimmer) instead of having to buy the multitool when the motor block / battery seems to be perfectly identical (commercial strategy surely).

It was founded by Albrecht Schnizler in 1923 in Nürtingen (Baden-Württemberg), in the backroom of his parents' bakery.
