Compact mid-torque fastening system with High Output battery performance The Milwaukee M18FMTIW2F12-302X delivers 745 Nm of fastening torque and 881 Nm of nut-busting torque in a compact 152 mm body, engineered for automotive servicing, plant maintenance, and structural fastening applications. Its mid-torque configuration covers the majority of wheel, suspension, and mechanical assembly tasks while maintaining improved accessibility in confined areas. The POWERSTATE brushless motor combined with REDLINK PLUS electronic intelligence ensures controlled power delivery and thermal protection. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL allows selection of multiple speed and torque settings to optimise application versatility. Bolt removal control applies full torque output and then reduces RPM once the fastener loosens to prevent drops. Auto shut-off mode limits output to 47 Nm for hand-tight fastening applications. Tri-LED lighting improves workspace visibility. The included M18HB3 3.0 Ah High Output batteries deliver increased power density compared to standard packs, while the M12-18FC fast charger reduces charging downtime. The Dynacase provides structured protection and organised transport. In 1918, Henry Ford, the great car manufacturer, placed an order with a young manufacturer, A.H. Petersen, who was one of the company's tool suppliers. His brief was to develop an electric drill that would be lighter than those already in existence. Petersen took up the challenge and created the Hole-Shooter, capable of the same performance but requiring less effort from the workers. In 1922, he founded the A.H. Petersen Company with his partner, Siebert, who bought the company when it went bankrupt in a fire. He began by repairing tools: this enabled him to train his employees well and to understand the needs of users by being in contact with them. He developed all kinds of power tools that were powerful, durable and lightweight. Soon, the US Navy was adopting Milwaukee power tools. The company also launched new ranges of chipping hammers, belt sanders and jig saws, including the famous SAWZALL... In 2005, the company joined the international Techtronic Industry group, which owns major brands such as AEG, Hoover and Ryobi.
