Description
Cordless Soldering Iron: Instructions for Use: 1. Clean the workpiece to be soldered of dirt, rust, and paint. 2. Heat the workpiece with the soldering iron. 3. Apply resin-based solder to the workpiece and melt it with the soldering iron. Note: When using resin-free solder, first apply solder paste to the workpiece. 4. Allow the solder to cool and harden before further processing the soldered workpiece. Caution: 1. Always switch off the soldering iron after use by sliding the switch to the "OFF" position. 2. Place the protective cap on the soldering tip when storing the soldering iron. Ensure that the switch is in the "OFF" position. 3. Do not touch the soldering tip while it is hot. 4. Do not immerse the soldering iron in water. 5. The soldering iron may emit some smoke during the initial use while the heating element dries. This is normal and should stop after about ten minutes. 6. Never file down the specially coated soldering tip.
