General description

The MinoSharp Sharpening Kit with Combination Stone Medium / Super Fine is designed to maintain the sharpness of Global knives, which are made from CROMOVA 18, a unique blade material that retains sharpness longer than most knives. This kit includes a holder and guide rails to assist in the sharpening process.

Technical specifications

  • Grit: 1000 / 8000
  • Stone type: Combination waterstone (Medium / Super Fine)
  • Soaking time: 10-15 minutes

    • Installation

  • Soak the waterstone in water for 10-15 minutes before use.

    • Usage

  • Hold the knife at a 10-15 degree angle against the stone.
  • Sharpen using smooth, steady strokes, maintaining the same angle.
  • Alternate sides of the blade until sharp and free of burrs.
  • Do not wash or wipe away the wet powder during sharpening.
  • After sharpening, wash knives in hot water and towel dry.
  • Use sharpening guard rails to aid in achieving the correct angle.
