Have only just applied this to my lawns a few days ago before we had the rain. I applied it by hand. Easy to apply & does have quite a smell to it but not too bad. Early yet to say if it will work but hopeful. The instructions say 3 - 4 week before seeing any change & 8 -10 weeks to complete the action. Looking forward to not having to rake out the dead moss
