Description

General description

Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler is a chemically bonded filler and catalyst designed for tough repairs to virtually any wood damage. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, filling holes and cracks without shrinking or cracking. This high-performance filler can be used on various surfaces, including window frames, sills, doors, and door frames, and is available in three colors: Natural, Dark, and White.

Installation

Before starting, remove any soft wood if repairing rotten wood and treat it with Ronseal Wood Hardener for better adhesion.

Mix a pea-sized amount of hardener with a golf ball-sized amount of filler until uniform in color.

Test the filler on a small area to ensure color satisfaction.

Pack the filler into the hole, leaving some raised above the surface, and smooth it over with a knife before it hardens.

You have approximately 20 minutes to shape the filler before it sets.

Usage

Suitable for any interior and exterior wood repairs.

Can be sanded, planed, filed, nailed, and screwed after drying.

Can be stained, varnished, or painted over once set.

Cleaning tools can be done with white spirit.

Just be careful not to use too much hardener and only work as much as you can place, otherwise it is difficult to keep smooth. Sets well and can be painted over quickly.
