General description This Network Tool Computer Network Line Tester is designed for testing network cables, ensuring proper connections and functionality. It is particularly useful for identifying abnormal connections and diagnosing issues in network setups. Technical specifications Power supply: Doubled 9V battery (not included) Indication of cable status through corresponding lights Usage Connect two RJ45 cables to the tester to check for proper connections. If two cables are shorted, the corresponding lights on the remote tester will not activate. In the case of three shorted cables, none of the corresponding lights will be activated. When testing patch panels or wall plate outlets, ensure that the cables being tested match each other. If the cables are functioning correctly, the BNC light will illuminate. Replace the battery if the indicator light appears weak.
