EDEM paintable non-woven wall liner 60 is made of high-quality, 100% pure and breathable pulp and textile fibres; it is the most cost-effective variant amongst our non-woven wallpaper types for renovation work as well as for the reinforcement of smooth wall surfaces. This thin non-woven wallpaper is exclusively suitable for processing on exceptionally well plastered and ground plasterboard walls and smooth concrete surfaces as per the Q4 standard. As a crack-covering lining paper, EDEM paintable non-woven wall liner 60 works perfectly as a preparation for fixing the subsequent wallpaper or painting coats. Thanks to the double roll width of 1.06 m, you can fix the wallpaper even on large wall surfaces faster and more effectively.

Please note that a normal writing paper has a thickness of 80 g/m2. We therefore recommend inexperienced customers to check the samples of different paper grammages offered by us.

PREPARATION & APPLICATION

For a flawless result, the walls and ceilings should ideally be pre-treated with an adhesion primer, but at least with a wallpaper primer. A suitable primer regulates the absorption and load-bearing capacity of the base and also ensures that the surface colour is uniform.
EDEM paintable non-woven wall liner 60 can be directly glued on to the walls that have been prepared with a wallpaper adhesive without any prior soaking. Pasting devices can also be used for processing. If the surfaces are properly prepared, the subsequent paint coat remains bonded on the wallpaper and does not seep into the base, which otherwise may lead to stain formation and additional coats.

Please note that: If the wallpaper is applied with the ready-to-use non-woven wallpaper adhesive, the walls will be reinforced for a longer duration. If you want the wallpaper to be stripped dry from the walls, please use the wallpaper paste for non-woven wallpapers.

EDEM paintable non-woven wall liner 60 has very good joining characteristic and can be processed on all four walls even by an untrained handyman without any problem. You can achieve flawless smooth surfaces and ensure additional protection against crack formation on walls and ceilings. Unlike fibre glass wallpapers, this material is skin-friendly, breathable and can be stripped dry from the walls. It can be repeatedly coated with commercially available dispersion or latex paints and forms an exceptional base for the subsequent wallpapering as well as for using decorative scraper techniques.

OTHER PROPERTIES

EDEM paintable non-woven wall liner 60 is hardly combustible, dimensionally stable and can bridge minor to moderate cracks. It is easy to process, ensures good base covering and is also suitable as a base wallpaper. Its smooth and structure-free surface can be individually coated and painted.
