the chair looks ok now it is assembled but many of the pre-drilled holes didn't match so required drilling and 2 chains missing not convinced about how long it will last.

Do not buy this. The workmanship is horrific. Wood needs to be sanded down, I had 5 splinters while attempting to put it together. The wood is split and broken. These must have already been broken when packed in factory so I fail to see how it passed their quality control. The pieces (like the arm rest) are not fit together properly. It looks as if someone who does not know carpentry has attempted to make this. Definitely not worth the money I paid for it. I implore ManoMano to stop carrying this product. It is well below par. Stay away from it.

Two of us had no difficulty in assembling this product which is make of very high quality materials, and is very heavy. The secret is not to rush, and to study the drawing very carefully, and select each individual piece BEFORE starting the assembly. Then do it all finger tight before having a final tightening using a 17mm socket (although they do supply one). I gave all the timber another coat of preservative, as I want it to last a long time. Everything went very smoothly until we came to connect the swing to the frame by use of the chains. The notes on how to do this are not adequate. So eventually we just put the product code Outsunny 01-0078 into Google and found pictures of the finished product. Then it was easy. I am delighted with the finished article. I have modified it a bit by using a sliding bolt each side on the back of the seat to control the reclining bit, and drilled holes in the sides for the bolt to slide into.

this swing, whilst very heavy and should be a two man assemble, is great to look at and is very comfortable to sit on, family love it when we have a bbq to sit and eat on it definitely would recommend this swing

A good quality swing seat. The only point I would make is the frame for the top of the seat is only thin tubing and the cover does not fit very well. The instructions with the seat could be better but in the end it worked out OK. Pleased with my purchase.

Arrived very promptly. Contents checked and found to be short. Lack of instructions so if you are not competent at DIY don'y buy it. If you do, ideally best have a couple of 17mm sockets to hand as the tools supplied are very poor. There are no proper detailed instructions. The supplied expanded diagram shows each piece with a letter. That would help if the corresponding letters were marked on the pieces of wood! I'm a competent DIYer and it took me and my partner 4 hours to erect. Thankfully we didn't kill each other in the process. We completed the mission with the missing piece as I believe the structure is sound without it..........watch this space.
