Published on 12/03/2022, United KingdomNeed a good hammer drill to get holes on the brick work. ensure the guide punch initially done with a just drill setting as hammer mode causes lot of vibration hence holes are challenging to place at a single chosen point. There are 2 options of screws given and i used metal sheath.

It's September as I write this however, so we haven't had much use of it yet but next summer we expect it to take the edge off being blasted in the face by the sun. You need a big hammer drill to drill the holes in your brickwork of your house. You could use a normal drill but it would take ages. A couple of points about installing it - really consider where the shade falls according to the sun position and time of year. Also, don't install it too high because you can adjust the slope of the awning - from almost 90 degree straight out to a decent slope so you can adjust that quite well. Would recommend.
