I bought this for storage in my beach hut and for occasional seating behind a Murphy table as we use the hut all year round. I have painted the frame of each piece with the green beach hut paint and given the rest a thorough coating of the waterproof coating we use inside the hut for bare wood. I am really pleased with the bench as the price was good and the size fitted so well.

Lovely decent sized bench, good generous lid size. I am painting it for use inside the house, so the couple of mm gap at the lid hinge isn't a problem for me, but I can see how it might be problematic for use in the garden.

Good quality product and really easy to put together. It does however, have storage limitations as there is a 3mm gap in the seat where the hinges are. This allows rain to get into the storage area so cushions and metal tools could not be stored
