Looks smart, more tidy looking , practical not sure! If when putting out their cigarette , or disposing if they miss the opening, it will drop to the ground, and people will not bend down to pick it up. At least the wind will not blow it away like in a normal ashtray, but if not emptied regular - again it spills to the ground.
