Presentation: The YACHTCARE Pack is composed of a BK Epoxy resin and a glass mat with a weight of 300g/m2. Supplied with its hardener, the 1kg Yachtcare Epoxy BK resin is a solvent-free, fluid and transparent resin for coating, laminating or casting. It can be used as a binder for fillers (e.g. light fillers, sawdust or sand) but also as a casting resin for filling and manufacturing construction elements or covering with glass, aramid or carbon reinforcements. Advantages : BK resin: Translucent resin Fluid Solvent free Cures on the surface without pitting Good chemical resistance especially to alkalis and many organic solvents Glass mat: Provides a high degree of sealing and rigidity Provides a flexible surface Characteristics : BK resin: Yachtcare BK Epoxy Resin Hardener included Colour: yellowish In contact with water this resin becomes white Capacity: 625 gr of resin and 375 gr of hardener, i.e. 1kg in all Density: about 1,1 kg/litre Area of application: coating of porous or smooth surfaces, impregnation resin, fibreglass-reinforced coatings and moulds. Casting for connections and other hollow bodies.
