Published on 12/06/2024, FranceThis guide is very practical and I am very satisfied with it. I ordered it mainly for its 2 adjustable skids to be able to work all the way to the end of the pieces of wood, which was not the case on the old model where the skids are too far from the cutter and not adjustable. Being plastic, the pads lack a little rigidity when you adjust them all the way towards the center, you just have to be careful not to press the guide too hard against the workpiece when you approach the edge. Aluminum pads would solve this problem. The included micrometric stop is also very practical. I saw that Festool now provides this new guide with the router instead of the old one, and it is much better in my opinion. I highly recommend it.
