Ready for brake fluid test
Unscrew the brake fluid reservoir and remove the cap from the brake fluid tester. Immerse the test probes in the brake fluid up to the plastic edge of the device.

To check the quality of the fluid

Press the button to turn on, the green LED will light up. Insert the tester into the reservoir for one second, then the tester result will be correctly indicated by the LEDs. Press the button again to turn off. The tester will turn off automatically after about 15 seconds of inactivity.

Tester instructions:

The brake fluid detection pen is based on the change in conductivity to determine the brake fluid moisture change. It clearly shows the extent of the moisture contained by the light-emitting diode, a high moisture content will result in a lower boiling point, affecting braking performance. Red indicates that the brake fluid should be replaced immediately, green represents a good condition, yellow indicates that the condition is acceptable but soon to be replaced.

1. Green LED on = water content in brake fluid H2O 1.5%, qualified brake fluid

2. Yellow LED on = water content of brake fluid H2O = 1.5% 3%, can continue to use, test again six months later

3. Red LED on = water content in brake fluid H2O 3%, can no longer continue to use the brake fluid must be replaced Red LED: change brake fluid

Technical parameters:

Green: Battery OK, i.e. the brake fluid does not contain water

Green/yellow: brake oil water content less than 1%, better brake fluid performance, ease of use.

Green/yellow/yellow: brake oil in a water content of about 2%, the brake fluid can continue to be used.

Green/yellow/yellow/red: brake oil in a water content of about 3%, the proposed replacement of brake fluid.

Green/yellow/yellow/red/red: brake oil in a water content of at least 4%, the brake fluid must be replaced immediately responsible for very dangerous.

Attention:

1. Replace the battery if the green LED no longer lights up after pressing the power button. Wash the test probe with tap water after use.

2. In case of skin contact with brake fluid, wash the affected skin or clothing thoroughly with water.

3. Do not expose the brake fluid to the atmosphere for an extended period of time as the fluid is highly hygroscopic!
