Insert the pH electrode into the standard mixed phosphate buffer solution (pH 6.86) and wait for the reading to stabilize. Use the provided screwdriver to adjust the calibration potentiometer until the displayed reading matches that of the standard solution. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and insert it into the standard potassium hydrogen phthalate buffer solution (pH 4.01) for a second calibration. To use the pH tester: Turn on the switch. Immerse the probe in the water to be tested, ensuring the small glass ball is completely submerged. Stir gently and wait for the reading to stabilize before taking the result. Other information: The pH tester should be calibrated frequently, especially after extended periods of disuse. Do not contaminate the standard buffer solution after cleaning and seal it with plastic wrap for reuse.
