Description

Size: 3/8 NPT to 1/4 NPT brass equal diameter hexagonal fitting. Note: NPT tapered thread is the nominal size, not the actual diameter. Please refer to the size chart for the specific thread diameter. NPT threads have a 60° taper and are usually not fully tightened.

Material: High-quality solid brass fitting, thicker and stronger, durable, deep and precise threads, strong corrosion resistance, low magnetic permeability, and high temperature resistance. Quantity: 4 brass hexagonal fittings.

Function: Used to connect or extend internally threaded pipes of the same diameter. Suitable for piping, compressed air, hydraulic, refrigeration, instrumentation, and gas connections.

Hexagonal fitting, easy to tighten and loosen.

Working pressure: 1200 psi, temperature range: -53°C to +121°C.

This connection method is relatively difficult to operate and in most cases does not require a washer.

NPT Tapered Thread: Standard NPT tapered threads allow brass fittings to better conform to object surfaces and enhance connection strength to prevent leaks. The smoother thread surface makes installation easier and faster.

From the very first use on a 1mm steel sheet, the saw teeth wear down and fail to cut the sheet. Not recommended for cutting steel.
