General description

Den boxes have proved to be a successful conservation tool in Scotland, with boxes occupied year after year. This proven design is based on the VWT Den Box, optimized for precision manufacture using specialist equipment. Constructed from durable 18mm exterior grade plywood, this box is designed to last and features strong battens for mounting.

Usage

Pine martens have been found to use den boxes for various purposes, including raising young in spring/summer, sheltering from bad weather, resting during the day, and staying safe from predation above ground level.
