Product information

Description

PRECISION CASTING: The tubing cutter design features large rollers to secure the tubing cutter wheel to the tubing. Robust and extremely stable. The tube incision is clean.

HIGH LEVEL MATERIAL: The body of the copper tube cutter is made of zinc alloy, which makes it more portable. After many transformations, the knife body is durable and solid. The surface is treated, not easy to rust, longer service life. The blade is made of SKD steel after being quenched at high temperature to make it more sharp and easy to cut into the pipe.

WIDE CUTTING RANGE: The pipe cutter can cut the pipe with the most large size from 1-50mm OD, and is suitable for a variety of different materials, such as stainless steel, all soft tubing like aluminum, copper, and PVC and other materials.

QUICK ADJUSTMENT: The precision of the screw thread makes it possible to quickly adjust the size of the opening. Accuracy of cutting flat pipes at the same time can be effective in adjusting the size of the diameter.

Obviously it’s imported from China but the cost of the ridgid brands outweighs the use it will get as it’s for a 1 off job . It appears to be of heavy construction and well finished . Unfortunately I’ve not yet used it as I’m not doing the work until it stops raining but I see no reason why it should not perform as expected- I have about 6 or 7 cuts to make EDIT I’ve recently used this pipe cutter and I made approximately 12 cuts of 1” black iron pipe . It was very good , I wasn’t sure about the quality of the cutting wheel but no chips or deflections ..
