General description

Polycell Polyfilla Decorators Caulk is a flexible permanent acrylic sealant designed for both internal and external applications, particularly in areas subject to movement. It is ideal for sealing around architraves and cornices, filling cracks between skirting boards and walls, pointing around window and doorframes, and repairing cracked plaster. The caulk provides a smooth finish that does not require sanding.

Installation

Use a skeleton gun to apply the caulk to the area under repair.

Ensure full contact with the sides and back of the joint, applying slightly proud of the surface to allow for shrinkage.

For larger holes, partially fill with Polyfilla Expanding Foam Filler before applying the caulk.

Wipe off excess material with a damp cloth.

Smoothing should be done as soon as possible.

Usage

Do not apply in wet or damp conditions.

Do not use in temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius.

Avoid application below ground level, in areas of high abrasion, or in contact with bituminous material.
