Description

General Description

This refractometer allows you to easily monitor the quality of grapes and thus improve your winemaking. It was designed primarily to measure the sugar content of grape juice and therefore allows you to determine the potential alcohol level of wine and fermented grape juice. Please note that this instrument is not suitable for measuring the alcohol content of wine.

Installation

  • Zero calibration with distilled water at 20°C

Operation

  • Place 2 to 3 drops of the sample onto the main prism
  • Close the cover and read the Brix value through the display window
  • Adjustable eyepiece for focusing at the point
