Description
General description This automotive wire tracer and short circuit finder tool is designed to identify and trace wires or cables without damaging the insulation. It detects and alerts you immediately when a circuit is open, allowing you to quickly locate short circuits, open connections, broken wires, and current leaks. The tool includes a transmitter and a receiver, with LEDs on both units indicating open or short circuit conditions. The built-in buzzer also signals under these conditions, making troubleshooting easier and faster. Technical specifications Operating Voltage: 6 to 42 volts DC Receiver Dimensions: 38.5 x 4 x 2.3 cm (H x W x D, approximate) Sender Dimensions: 6.5 x 5.6 x 2.1 cm (H x W x D, approximate) Probe Length: 7-inch flexible probe Power: 2 x 9V battery (6F22) Red and black test leads cable length: 61 cm (approximate) Installation Install 9V 6F22 batteries in both the Receiver and Transmitter. Usage Use the probe to check for short circuits, locate open circuits, trace wires, and identify wires.
