Description
The Protimeter Digital Mini is a compact, handheld moisture meter designed for rapid diagnosis of damp problems in walls, floors and joinery. Calibrated for wood and reporting as Wood Moisture Equivalent (WME) on masonry, it allows surveyors and building professionals to identify, monitor and compare moisture levels across a structure.
With pin-type resistance measurement, the Digital Mini detects surface moisture up to 10 mm deep. For sub-surface readings, it includes an auxiliary moisture probe and supports a range of optional accessories such as deep wall probes, hammer electrodes and EIFS probes. Its patented reference mode enables comparative measurements across multiple points relative to a selected baseline, making it ideal for mapping rising damp or tracking drying progress.
The display combines a clear backlit LCD with a multicolour LED arc, providing both numeric and visual moisture condition indicators (dry, at risk, wet). Measurement ranges from 6% to 99% WME. Adjustable features include backlight brightness, sound and visual alerts, auto shut-off and an in-built calibration check.
The upgraded 2024 model offers 3 times longer battery life, over-the-air software updates and integration with the Protimeter Connect App. This allows time- and date-stamped readings to be saved with supporting photos and geolocation for traceable, professional reporting.
Each unit is supplied with a pouch, deep wall probe, user guide and two spare pins. Lightweight and easy to use, the Protimeter Digital Mini is a trusted tool for both new-build and retrofit damp investigations.
