The Protimeter Surveymaster is a robust, dual-function moisture meter trusted by surveyors, contractors and damp specialists for accurate and non-destructive moisture diagnosis. With both pin and pinless modes, it enables reliable surface and sub-surface moisture measurement, helping to locate, map and monitor damp issues with precision. The non-invasive search mode uses radio-frequency signals to detect moisture up to 19 mm below the surface without damaging decorative finishes. This allows users to assess hidden damp in floors, walls and coverings such as tile, vinyl or plaster, unaffected by surface condensation or humidity. In contrast, the pin-type measure mode delivers targeted, high-accuracy readings at the surface or at depth when used with deep wall probes. The device displays results as Wood Moisture Equivalent (WME), with LED indicators showing whether the reading is dry, borderline or wet. The Surveymaster includes user-adjustable features such as backlight and buzzer control, a hold function, and a built-in calibration check.
