The connecting wire must have the same or greater capacitance than the power line, and the total length must be kept under 0.5 m. The shorter the wire, the better. 2. The pneumatic switch or corresponding fuse must be connected in series at the front end of the surge protector. 3. The power supply must be disconnected during installation. 4. SPD Fault Assessment: A. The module indicator window is green, indicating normal operation. When the indicator window turns red, indicating module failure, it must be replaced promptly. B. The surge protector can be equipped with a remote signaling alarm (FS). The remote signaling contact has one normally open contact and one normally closed contact. If one or more modules of the surge protector fail, the contact will close and send a fault alarm signal, indicating that the module must be replaced.
