With this wooden bat box set you can help native bats find roosts. Especially from May to August they need shelter to rear their young. The bat box also provides a hibernation site for larger species from November to March. Grooves on the landing board help bats land securely and climb into the box. The bat hotel is quick to hang thanks to the hook.

Note: In spring and autumn the boxes may host transient bats, as the animals are on the move.

Tips for hanging bat boxes
- Attach to façades or trees
- Place the box as high as possible
- Recommended height: at least 4 metres
- Hang in a sheltered spot
- Mount in a warm, sunny location, preferably with morning and midday sun
- Remove branches and obstacles within about 2 m
- Hang multiple boxes about 5 m apart
