Description

The flaring tool allows you to flange aluminium and copper pipes quickly and easily. The 7 sizes of clamp and matching adapters are suitable for pipes from 5 to 16mm in diameter. Simply cut the pipe to size beforehand using the pipe cutter supplied. The set is neatly stored in the practical case.

Universal Pipe Flange Tool
- For flaring brake lines and air conditioning systems
- Produces single and double flares
- Suitable for copper and aluminium tubing
- For pipe diameters from 5 to 16 mm
- Adapters: 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 mm

How to Use
- Cut the tube at right angles to the tube axis
- Deburr the tube end
- Slide the flare nut over the tube
- Insert the tube from below into the appropriate hole in the clamp
- Allow the end of the pipe to protrude from the clamp to the first shoulder of the adapter.
- Tighten the clamp (starting with the wing nut closest to the pipe)
- Place the appropriate adapter on the pipe
- Apply a drop of oil to the flaring cone
- Position the flaring tool over the clamp
- The undercuts on the flaring tool must engage with the underside of the clamp.
- Centre the flaring tool over the adapter
- Turn the handle down until the adapter touches the clamp.
- Omit adapter for single flaring
