Function:

1. Read Codes: This option is used to identify which section of the emissions control system has malfunctioned.
2. Clear Codes: After reading the codes retrieved from the vehicle and performing certain repairs, you can use this function to clear the vehicle's codes.
3. Live Data: This option retrieves and displays live data and parameters from the vehicle's ECU.
4. View Freeze Frame: When an emissions-related fault occurs, certain vehicle conditions are recorded by the on-board computer.
5. O2 Monitor Test: The O2 sensor test results are not live values, but rather the results of the last O2 sensor test performed by the ECU, for live O2 sensor readings.
6. On-board monitor test: This function can be used to read the results of on-board diagnostic monitoring tests for specific components/systems.
7. Component test: The Component Test function allows you to run a leak test for the vehicle's component system. The tool does not perform the leak test, but the signals sent to the vehicle's onboard computer should initiate the test.

A. Before performing this function, be sure to retrieve and save the fault codes.
B. After clearing, you must retrieve the fault codes again or turn the ignition on and retrieve the codes again. If there are still fault codes in the system, please resolve the code using a factory diagnostic guide, then clear the code and recheck. C. If the DTCs have been cleared, frozen data may not be stored in the vehicle's memory, depending on the vehicle.
