General description

The Ronseal Quick Drying Woodstain in Deep Mahogany is an easy-to-apply woodstain that enhances the natural beauty of wood while providing protection against the elements. It is suitable for both exterior softwood and hardwood surfaces, such as doors and window frames. This woodstain features a semi-transparent satin finish that is durable and water-resistant, drying to the touch in just 30 minutes and fully dry in four hours.

Installation

Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and sanded with 120 grit sandpaper if previously stained or varnished.

Wipe down with white spirit to remove dust and dirt.

Stir the stain thoroughly before use.

Test on a small hidden area to check colour.

Apply with a brush in the direction of the grain.

Apply three coats, allowing four hours between coats.

Lightly sand between coats for a smoother finish.

Usage

Apply to exterior wood surfaces to add colour and protection.

Reapply as needed for touch-ups or increased protection.

Clean brushes with warm, soapy water after use.
