• Our 15 Year Protection Direct to Metal Paint offers a tough, durable finish for metal surfaces. It can be applied directly to rust without the need for primer and requires minimal preparation. The paint provides long-lasting protection, maintaining the appearance of your metal for up to 15 years. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is low odour.

Installation

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust, and grease.
• Remove loose rust or paint with a wire brush or 120 grit sandpaper.
• For previously painted surfaces in good condition, lightly sand with 240 grit sandpaper.
• Remove flaking paint completely before applying new paint.
• Stir the paint thoroughly for 2-3 minutes before use.

Usage

• Apply the paint with a brush, roller, or spray. Dilute with about 10% water if spraying.
• Allow 2-4 hours between coats.
• For best results, apply 3 coats on rusty or heavily corroded metal surfaces.
• Touch dry in 30 minutes after the final coat.

Other Information

• Regular inspection and touch-ups are recommended to maintain protection. Remove any cracks, blisters, or scratches, and reapply 2 coats if needed.
