General description

The Ronseal RSLIVSFO750 Interior Varnish Satin French Oak is a quick-drying varnish that provides a durable, natural finish for interior wood surfaces. It offers diamond-hard protection against heat, scratches, and water, making it ideal for furniture, skirting boards, and other wooden features. This varnish enhances the wood's natural appearance with a satin sheen and is suitable for both bare and previously varnished wood surfaces.

Installation

Prepare the wood surface by cleaning with a cloth and white spirit to remove grease and dirt.

Sand the surface with 120 grit sandpaper to smooth out rough patches and remove old coatings.

Wipe away dust with a damp cloth and allow the surface to dry thoroughly.

Stir the varnish well before use.

Test on a hidden area to check color and finish.

Apply an even coat in the direction of the wood grain, allowing one hour to dry between coats.

Apply 2-3 coats for optimal protection and finish, sanding lightly and cleaning dust between coats.

Usage

Apply with a brush or roller in the direction of the wood grain.

Allow each coat to dry for at least one hour before applying the next.

Sand lightly and clean dust between coats for a smooth finish.

Once fully dry, the surface can be cleaned normally.
