General description

Ronseal uPVC Paint White Satin is designed to revamp uPVC windows and doors with a long-lasting, durable formula. This paint is flexible to prevent cracking and is mould resistant to minimize staining, ensuring it can withstand various weather conditions.

Installation

Ensure the area is clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust, and grease.

Wash the surface with warm soapy water, rinse, and let it dry thoroughly.

Lightly sand the area with 180-220 grit sandpaper for an even finish.

If painting over previously painted uPVC, lightly sand with 240 grit sandpaper if the paint is in good condition; otherwise, sand off flaking or cracked paint with 120 grit sandpaper.

Wait for a warm dry day (above 10°C) to paint, avoiding cold, wet weather.

Usage

Stir the paint thoroughly before application.

Apply with a brush or roller.

Allow to dry for 2-4 hours before applying a second coat.

If painting over a dark colour, a third coat may be necessary.

Check for imperfections annually and touch up as needed.

Other information

For new uPVC, wait at least 12 months before painting.

Clean brushes and rollers in warm soapy water after use.

Do not dispose of leftover paint in drains; contact local authorities for disposal methods.
