Rustins Knotting is a fast-drying sealing product designed to seal knots in wood, as well as resinous and creosoted timber, to prevent bleeding through paint. It helps maintain a uniform finish and prevents discolouration of paints, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Installation

Prepare the surface by sanding it smooth before application.

Apply the knotting liberally over knots and surrounding areas.

Do not sand the knotting once applied.

For resinous and creosoted timber, seal completely with two coats.

Usage

Use to prevent bleeding of knots and resin through paint films.

Suitable for both interior and exterior projects.

Not recommended for use under polyurethane clear varnishes, water-based varnishes, or water-based paints.
