It uses twin impellers designed to pump both hot and cold water to a shower or other outlets, pumping water simultaneously or individually, ideally suited for a gravity-fed water system. Twin impeller pumps work best with showers and mixers, producing a balanced supply for more efficient mixing capabilities. Best positioned at the base of the hot water cylinder, this positive head pump is activated by a flow of water, typically about 1 litre per minute per side. Anti-vibration feet reduce noise and keep the pump stable, ensuring a quiet operation during early morning or late night showers. The pump operates like a powered water mill, efficiently moving water through the system.
