I preferred to take the 1070 model and pay a little more to have maximum use compared to my projects.
You should not be in a hurry depending on the width to be planed.
I made hardwood cutting boards in the butcher's block version 25 cm wide by 30 cm long and for the planing part, you have to go by 0.5 mm but it does the job with very good quality. The machine is practical to use, read the manual carefully before use.
