It reactivates the SRS (Seat Restricted System) function for safety, offering a practical and cost-effective solution for replacing a damaged seat occupancy sensor. Compact and efficient, this emulator sends an occupancy signal to the OBC (On-Board Control) system, regardless of whether the seat is actually occupied. Installation
- Step 1: Open the top cover of the emulator and set the switch.
- Step 2: Locate the seat occupancy sensor unit underneath The front passenger seat, cut the wire and reconnect it to the simulator.
- Step 3: Fasten the seat belt on the front passenger seat.
Operation
After installation, the simulator will send an occupancy signal to the OBC system, whether the seat is occupied or not. It is important to keep the seat belt fastened to avoid safety warnings. In the event of an accident, the simulator will activate the SRS just like a factory-installed sensor.Features
