Wick to shape perfect for digging a tree trunk (wooden lamp project from a lime tree trunk) I recommend the article

Very good, robust tool. I bought it to cut styrodur in order to embed electricity boxes. Excellent result. By cons I tried to drill wood with a cordless drill and there, given the diameter, the requested torque is too high. You need a wire. I will try with my Dewalt 54V hammer.

The central piston is a threaded wick, suddenly the wick advances with the step of the shoe, which is too fast. To be used only with fixed equipment.

Very large and robust bit, cuts very well and even if I have not yet needed to do it the blade is made in such a way that it looks quite simple to sharpen

The centering point is a little too long. Good cut Robust appearance To see over time. Use for digging on a wood lathe in combination with 2 other drill bits of smaller diameter. Drilling at 200 rpm in dry ash (firewood)
