Velvet fabric may appear different under various lighting conditions; it shimmers in daylight and looks toned down in artificial light.

To even out color and remove dents, stroke the material in one direction with an open palm, wipe with a damp cloth, or use a steam iron.

Other information

Maintenance tips for velvet: Clean with dry upholstery shampoo and a wet sponge or a mild cleaner; vacuum with a suitable attachment.

For iron components: Clean with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners to prevent scratches; use a polishing agent for copper or chromed elements.
