These lights suit my needs perfectly - I use them to decorate my narrowboat roof at night. You need to be aware that, once activated, there is no switch to turn them off again, so they’ll come on night after night - assuming continued Solar charging during the day. I guess that you can always keep them in the dark until the charge is depleted.
