The main unit must be installed 10 cm above the ground. In case of rain or flooding, the deterrent device must be removed until the rain stops. The type and density of the soil affect the performance of the deterrent device. Therefore, test the soil before installation. Compact soil conducts sound better. Damage caused by frost, irrigation, or standing water will compromise the device's performance.
