The hide faces absorb shock and transfer force to the workpiece without causing damage. They are ideal when a heavy blow is required in a relatively small striking area. Faces are designed to wear and be replaced; for use with Thor Size A split head hammers. Face diameter 25mm (1 in).

Fits malleable iron split head hammers and corresponds to Thor MPN 70-08R.
Cylindrical, compressed hide faces are designed to wear predictably and be replaced to maintain performance.
