General description

Liberon Steel Wool is produced from high-quality steel, creating a crumble and dust-resistant wool that is virtually oil-free. It is suitable for use on a variety of materials, including wood, metal, porcelain, and glass. The choice of steel wool grade depends on the planned usage, with different grades designed for specific tasks.

Grades available: Ultra Fine (Grade 0000), Super Fine (00), Fine (0), Grade 1, Grades 2, 3 & 4

Usage

Polishing and cleaning delicate surfaces: Use Ultra Fine (Grade 0000) for cutting back between coats of French polish, varnish, and oil finishes.

Cleaning and polishing metals: Use Ultra Fine (Grade 0000) on bronze, copper, chrome, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Light cleaning and surface preparation: Use Super Fine (00), Fine (0), and Grade 1 with Liberon Wax and Polish Remover to remove built-up wax polish, smoke, and dirt on wood.

Heavy stripping and cleaning work: Use Grades 2, 3 & 4 for stripping paint and varnish from wood and for cleaning beams, panels, and wooden floors.

Other information

To avoid cuts, never tear steel wool; cut to size with scissors or shears.

Always protect your hands with gloves when handling steel wool.
