Stirling Bold - Antique Brass Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield Straight 8mm

Control radiator warmth with greater precision

This modern Stirling Bold TRV set pairs a thermostatic radiator valve with a matching lockshield, helping you manage the warmth of an individual room without relying only on the main heating controls. The straight body connects to 8mm pipework, while the liquid sensor responds automatically to changes in room temperature.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Give each room its own level of heating control: Instead of leaving the radiator fully open, the TRV adjusts the flow of hot water as the surrounding room temperature changes.
• Use less unnecessary heat in rooms that are already warm: By reducing hot-water flow when the room is warm enough, the valve can help limit unnecessary heating in that space.
• Help protect the radiator when temperatures fall: The frost setting provides a safeguard for very cold conditions by allowing the valve to open slightly when temperatures fall sufficiently low.
• Avoid sourcing a matching lockshield separately: A matching lockshield is supplied with the thermostatic valve, so the corresponding valve does not need to be bought separately.
• Make the connection work with your installation layout: The straight format is suited to aligned pipework and radiator connections, avoiding an unnecessary change in direction.
• Tailor radiator output to the room's needs: Several thermostatic settings give you more flexibility than a simple manual on/off valve.
• Benefit from automatic response to changing room temperature: Room-temperature changes are detected by the liquid sensor, allowing the valve to regulate flow automatically.
• Give the radiator a more considered finishing detail: Its modern profile gives the radiator connection a neater, more streamlined finishing detail. The Antique Brass colour with a brushed & lacquered finish gives the visible valve set a considered decorative appearance.
• Add longer-term confidence to the purchase: The included 3 years guarantee adds confidence when choosing a valve set for ongoing everyday use.
