Stirling Bold - Silver Nickel Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield Corner 8mm

Thermostatic control with a coordinated valve set

The Stirling Bold Silver Nickel thermostatic radiator valve and matching lockshield give you room-by-room control over an individual radiator while keeping the installation visually coordinated. Its corner 8mm fitting and liquid sensor combine practical connection design with automatic thermostatic response as the room temperature changes.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Manage radiator warmth around how the room is used: Instead of leaving the radiator fully open, the TRV adjusts the flow of hot water as the surrounding room temperature changes.
• Avoid heating a room more than you need: Once the room needs less heat, the TRV can reduce flow through that radiator, helping make more efficient use of the hot water being circulated.
• Add protection during very cold weather: When surrounding temperatures become very low, frost-protection behaviour can permit limited flow to help protect the radiator and connected pipework.
• Avoid sourcing a matching lockshield separately: A matching lockshield is supplied with the thermostatic valve, so the corresponding valve does not need to be bought separately.
• Make the connection work with your installation layout: Corner valves are suited to side-entry radiators where the pipework comes directly out of the wall.
• Move beyond simple on-or-off radiator control: Several thermostatic settings give you more flexibility than a simple manual on/off valve.
• Let the thermostatic mechanism respond without constant adjustment: A liquid-filled sensor reacts as the room warms and cools, helping the valve adjust without constant manual intervention.
• Complete the radiator with a coordinated visible fitting: The contemporary body shape is designed to complement modern radiators without adding unnecessary visual bulk. The polished & lacquered Silver Nickel finish helps coordinate the valves with the radiator and nearby fittings.
• Buy with longer-term reassurance: The 3 years guarantee provides added reassurance for a product intended to remain part of the heating installation for years to come.
