Forgefix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are designed for joining timber to steel frame buildings. These screws feature breakaway wings that create a clearance hole, protecting the thread from engaging timber during drilling. The wings ream a hole and break off upon contact with metal, allowing the thread to engage effectively. They come with a TORX® compatible insert for enhanced power transmission and improved countersinking from recessed ribs.

Fire and corrosion resistant for durability.
Complies with EU Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements.
Size: 5.5 x 80mm, suitable for heavy gauge steel.
