Forgefix TechFast timber-to-steel countersunk wing screws are designed to join timber to steel frames. Breakaway wings ream a clearance hole in the timber and break off on contact with metal so the thread can engage. The TORX-compatible insert increases power transmission and recessed ribs improve countersinking. Made from A4 stainless steel for fire and corrosion resistance, suitable for internal and external use. Specifications: 5.5 x 110mm, clamping thickness 90mm, effective thread length 89mm, No.3 self-drilling tip for steel up to 5mm, pack of 50. Complies with EU Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.
